What is the difference between a filter and a purifier?

Water filters remove impurities such as dirt, bacteria and sediment, making the water clearer and healthier to drink. Water purifiers, however, remove viruses too, as well as bacteria and other contaminants. Water purifiers must remove over 99.99% of viruses and 99.9999% of bacteria.  

What do water filters remove?

Water filters remove a variety of contaminants from drinking water, such as:

How do I change the filter? 

Change the filter approximately every six months. You can find the filter at the base - simply twist it counterclockwise to remove and replace it. Reset the system by holding the button for 5 seconds after replacing the filter.
