If you’re using your hydrogen bottle for the first time, there are a few extra steps:
- Remove the moisturising plug (!Attention, there is a bit of water in it to protect the membrane)
- Carefully manually clean the bottle body and the cap with warm, soapy water. (!Do not use the dishwasher.)
- Install the bottle body by screwing it into the electronic base.
- Highly recommended: Let filtered water sit for 1-2 hours before the first use to fully activate the membrane
- Run 2 cycles and discard the water
Then, just use as normal:
- Fill it with filtered water
- Press the start button for 2 seconds (press again within 5 seconds for 10 min cycle)
- Wait
