We make PIURIFY, so read this PIURIFY vs Ocemida comparison with that in mind. The Ocemida Nexis is one of the strongest bottles in this category and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is where it wins, and where a PIURIFY bottle is the better buy.
1,000 PPB of dissolved molecular hydrogen equals 1.0 PPM, which equals 1.0 mg of H2 per liter of water. The range cited across clinical studies is roughly 0.8 to 1.6 PPM (800 to 1,600 PPB). Both brands publish H2 Analytics reports, so this one comes down to price, capacity and how you actually use the bottle.

Quick verdict: PIURIFY vs Ocemida Nexis
The Ocemida Nexis reaches 8,740 PPB in 10 minutes, the strongest 10-minute result in this comparison, at $199. PIURIFY costs $19 to $69 less, offers a 17 oz bottle with more hydrogen per fill on longer cycles, and leads on lab-reported hydrogen per dollar on its longest cycles.
Pick the PIURIFY 10oz if you want a lab-tested bottle with a lifetime limited warranty for less: $129.99, in stock, ready to ship.
Pick the PIURIFY 17oz if you drink more water at a time: 17 oz against 9.5 oz, and up to 4.98 mg per fill. It is sold out right now.
Pick the PIURIFY Flask if you want a 12 oz BPA-free bottle for $19 less: 8,630 PPB on its 20-minute program and 3.02 mg per fill. It is sold out right now.
Pick the Ocemida Nexis if you want the highest concentration from one 10-minute cycle and a metal housing, and a 9.5 oz fill is enough.

Hydrogen output: PIURIFY vs Ocemida Nexis lab results
Ocemida wins the 10-minute cycle, by a lot. H2 Analytics report H2AR-260616-1 lists 4,520 PPB at 5 minutes and 8,740 PPB at 10 minutes in a 250 ml test fill. A second report from H2HUBB, using a different method and a 270 ml fill, lists 5,400 PPB and 7,700 PPB. Two labs both putting it well above our 10-minute figures is a strong result, and we would rather you heard that from us.
One caution on the headline: Ocemida’s page also mentions a 10,000 PPB maximum at 15 minutes. We did not find that figure in either report, so we use the tested numbers here.
PIURIFY wins on total hydrogen when you use a bigger bottle or a longer cycle. A 9.5 oz bottle carries less water, so a lower concentration in a larger fill can still deliver more:
| Bottle and cycle | Concentration | Fill | Hydrogen per fill |
|---|---|---|---|
| PIURIFY 10oz, 10 min | 4,090 PPB | 280 ml | 1.15 mg |
| PIURIFY Flask, 10 min | 4,860 PPB | 350 ml | 1.70 mg |
| PIURIFY 17oz, 10 min | 4,240 PPB | 500 ml | 2.12 mg |
| Ocemida Nexis, 10 min | 8,740 PPB | 250 ml | 2.40 mg (per its report) |
| PIURIFY Flask, 20 min | 8,630 PPB | 350 ml | 3.02 mg |
| PIURIFY 17oz, 20 min | 6,290 PPB | 500 ml | 3.14 mg |
| PIURIFY 17oz, two 20-min cycles | 9,970 PPB | 500 ml | 4.98 mg |

When you open any hydrogen lab report, check five things: the lab's name, the report number, the model tested, the fill volume, and the cycle length behind each number. Those five lines tell you far more than a headline on a product page. Our hydrogen water bottle buying guide goes deeper.

Ocemida Nexis price vs PIURIFY PPB per dollar
There are two fair ways to read value here, and they give different winners:
| Bottle | Price | PPB per $, 10 min | PPB per $, longest |
|---|---|---|---|
| PIURIFY 17oz | $151.00 | 28 | 66 |
| PIURIFY 10oz | $129.99 | 31 | 48 |
| PIURIFY Flask | $179.99 | 27 | 48 |
| Ocemida Nexis | $199 | 44 | 44 |

If you press the button once and drink, the Nexis is the better value on concentration. If you run longer cycles at home, or you simply want to spend less, PIURIFY comes out ahead. Our bottles also leave $19 to $69 in your pocket on day one, whichever way you use them.

PIURIFY hydrogen figures are measured by H2 Analytics (Henderson, NV), a third-party lab, using static headspace gas chromatography. Piurify requested and paid for its tests. Reports H2AR-240821-1 (10oz Bottle), H2AR-251025-1 (17oz Bottle with Handle) and H2AR-250918-1 (Flask), signed by Randy Sharpe, Director of Testing. Hydrogen per fill is concentration multiplied by fill volume. Ocemida figures from H2 Analytics report H2AR-260616-1, the H2HUBB report dated January 19, 2026, and the Ocemida product, warranty and return pages, read October 30, 2026.
