We make PIURIFY, so read this PIURIFY vs Echo Flask comparison with that in mind. Every figure has a source, including Echo’s own lab report, and we say plainly where Echo is stronger.
1,000 PPB of dissolved molecular hydrogen equals 1.0 PPM, which equals 1.0 mg of H2 per liter of water. The range cited across clinical studies is roughly 0.8 to 1.6 PPM (800 to 1,600 PPB). The Echo Flask is the best-known bottle in this category and it costs $299.99. Our Flask is the closest match: same size, same 10- and 20-minute programs, tested by the same lab, for $120 less.

Hydrogen output: PIURIFY Flask vs Echo Flask lab results
Both flasks were tested by H2 Analytics in Henderson, NV, using static headspace gas chromatography in distilled water, and each brand requested and paid for its own test. Echo’s report H2AR-250116-1 lists 6.07 mg/L at 10 minutes and 8.25 mg/L at 20 minutes. Our report H2AR-250918-1 lists 4.86 mg/L and 8.63 mg/L.
At 10 minutes, Echo wins clearly. 6,070 PPB against 4,860 PPB is a real gap. If you always run the short cycle, the Echo Flask delivers more.
At 20 minutes, they are effectively level. Ours is 380 PPB higher, but the lab’s standard deviations (0.53 and 0.40 mg/L) mean we would not call that a win on output. What separates them at 20 minutes is the $120.
| Bottle and cycle | Concentration | Fill | Hydrogen per fill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Echo Flask, 20 min | 8,250 PPB | 350 ml | 2.89 mg |
| PIURIFY Flask, 20 min | 8,630 PPB | 350 ml | 3.02 mg |
| PIURIFY 17oz, 20 min | 6,290 PPB | 500 ml | 3.14 mg |

Part of Echo’s premium pays for things a lab report does not measure: the touchscreen, the app and the name. That is a fair thing to pay for if you want them. Our roundup, Best Hydrogen Water Bottles 2026, compares the wider field.

Five years is a long warranty, and Echo deserves credit for it. The difference is what happens as the bottle ages: Echo’s coverage steps down each year and its warranty page lists no repair option, while ours runs for life on manufacturing defects. Echo’s return terms read better than ours within the 60 days, and we would rather say so.
